Help make Subz Tracker better?
Share which screens you use and where you get stuck. Never your subscriptions, prices or anything you type.
It is sent to Google Gemini. Google's AI reads the name, price and date.
Google may use it. On the free tier we use, Google may use your photo, and people at Google may look at it.
We don't keep it. Subz Tracker does not store your photos, only the details you save.
You can change your mind. Turn it off in Settings. The next scan asks again.

Your account will be closed right away and permanently deleted after 30 days.

Short version: use Subz Tracker for your own subscriptions, be fair to the service, and pay only if you choose a paid plan. You can cancel whenever you like and keep the plan until the period you paid for ends. If a paid plan is not for you, ask for your money back within 14 days and you get it, no questions asked.
This agreement
Subz Tracker is made and run by Randa Victor, based in Egypt. By creating an account or using the app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Subz Tracker. How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy, which is part of this agreement.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old. Subz Tracker is not for children.
Use a real email address you can receive mail at. We use it to sign you in and to send reminders and account emails.
Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
An account is for one person. You may use it on as many of your own devices as you like.
Tell us through Contact & feedback if you think someone else has got into your account.
Plans and prices
There are three plans. Free costs nothing. Plus is $1.99 a month or $19.90 a year. Pro is $3.99 a month or $39.90 a year. A yearly plan costs the same as ten months, so two months are free.
All prices are in US dollars and are the same for everyone. Your bank may convert them into your own currency and may add its own charge, which is between you and your bank. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
What each plan includes is listed on the pricing section of this website and on the Plan page in the app. We may change prices or what a plan includes. If you already pay for a plan, the price you joined at keeps applying to your plan for as long as it stays active; a new price only starts after we tell you, and never in the middle of a period you have paid for.
Billing
Paid plans are sold and charged by Creem, which is the merchant of record. Creem is the seller named on your receipt and on your card or bank statement, and Creem takes care of the tax. We never see or keep your card details.
A paid plan renews by itself at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Creem emails you a receipt for every payment. You can change your card or see your invoices through Settings → Plan in the app, which opens Creem.
If a payment fails, your plan keeps working for a short while and we show you a message with a link to fix the payment. If it still fails, the account goes back to Free. Nothing you created is deleted: if you are over a Free limit you keep everything and can still edit it, you simply cannot add more until you are back under the limit or on a paid plan again.
Cancelling
You can cancel a paid plan at any time, from Settings → Plan. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
Cancelling stops the next payment. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then becomes Free. For example, if you cancel a monthly plan one day after it renewed, you keep the paid plan for the rest of that month.
Refunds
If you are not happy with a paid plan, write to us through Contact & feedback within 14 days of the payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked. The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Creem, and your account goes back to Free.
After those 14 days we do not usually refund a period that has already started, but write to us anyway if something went wrong: we would rather fix it.
Early access gift
While Subz Tracker is in early access, Free accounts have no plan limits. This is a gift, not a promise forever. When paid plans open we tell you in the app, the normal Free limits start, and nothing you have created is deleted: you keep and can edit everything, you just cannot add more while you are over a limit.
Fair use
Please use Subz Tracker for keeping track of your own subscriptions. Do not:
break the law with it, or use it to harm or mislead anyone;
try to get into other people's accounts or into parts of the service that are not yours;
attack, overload or probe the service, or get around limits, prices or security;
copy, resell or rebrand the service, or use it to build a competing product;
upload anything illegal, or anything containing other people's private information you have no right to share;
send automated traffic beyond ordinary personal use.
If someone does any of this we may limit or close the account, and for anything serious we may do so without warning.
Receipt scanning
Receipt scanning is optional and you turn it on yourself. It is done by an outside service and it is not perfect: always check what it reads before you save it. Only scan images you have the right to share, and do not include information you would not want another company to see. The details are in the privacy policy.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Your account stops working immediately, your data is kept in a private archive for 30 days in case you come back, and is then permanently deleted. Deleting your account does not refund a period you have paid for, unless the 14 day rule above applies.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm the service or other people, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account and you have paid for a period you cannot use, we refund the unused part unless the closure was for serious misuse.
We may also stop offering Subz Tracker. If that ever happens we will give you reasonable notice, a way to export your data, and a refund of anything you have paid for but not used.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work hard to keep Subz Tracker correct, available and safe, and we will fix problems as quickly as we can. But Subz Tracker is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will never be unavailable, that reminders will always arrive on time, that exchange rates or scanned details will always be right, or that it will suit a particular purpose of yours.
Subz Tracker is a reminder and tracking tool, not financial advice. You stay responsible for your own subscriptions, payments and cancellations. Always check with the company you subscribe to.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as money you lost because a reminder did not arrive or a renewal was not cancelled. Where we are responsible, the most we owe you is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or $50 if you have paid us nothing. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We change the date at the top, and when a change really matters we tell you in the app or by email before it starts. If you keep using Subz Tracker after a change, that counts as accepting it. If you do not accept it, you can cancel and delete your account, and we refund any period you have paid for but not used.
Which law applies
These terms follow the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo, Egypt are the place for any dispute. If you live somewhere else as a consumer, this does not take away the protection your own country's law gives you, and you may still go to your local courts.
Contact
Questions about these terms? Use our contact form or Settings → Contact & feedback in the app.

Short version: Subz Tracker stores the subscriptions you add so it can show and remind you about them. We never ask for card or bank details, never sell your data and show no ads. You can delete your data at any time.
Who we are
Subz Tracker is made and run by Randa Victor, based in Egypt. “We” and “us” in this policy mean Subz Tracker. We decide how your data is used, so we are what the law calls the data controller. We do not publish a postal address; the way to reach us is Contact & feedback in the app (or the email address on our website), and we answer every message.
What we collect
What
Details
Account
Your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash, never readable). Optional: your full name. Also the date you last opened the app, a single date that is overwritten each time, never a history.
Sign-in records
When you created your account and last signed in, and your active sessions with the IP address and browser they came from.
Your subscriptions
Name, price, currencies, exchange rate, billing cycle, dates, category, colour, payment-method label, notes, status and any custom icon you upload.
Preferences
Currency, theme, time zone, reminder settings, your payment-method labels, and whether (and when) you agreed to receipt scanning.
Notification address
Only if you switch notifications on: the address your phone or your browser gives us so a reminder can reach it (on a phone a code from Firebase, in a browser a web address of the browser maker's own service plus two keys that let only us send to it). With it we keep a private number for that device, made at random by the app, so a new address replaces the old one and you never get the same reminder twice. It says nothing about you or your device. Both are stored with your account, and deleted when you switch notifications off, when your browser or phone drops the address, or when you delete your account.
Consent records
We keep a record of the choices you make about our terms, this privacy policy, notifications, email reminders, receipt scanning and usage statistics: what you chose, when, and on which kind of device. This lets us show your consent. It is deleted with your account.
Scan count
The time of each receipt scan, used for your plan’s monthly scan limit. Never the image.
Messages to us
Your email, your message, an optional screenshot, and technical details: app version, browser, operating system and screen size. A scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address is kept to stop spam.
App opens
A random code the app makes up and keeps on your device and, each time you open the app, only that code, the time, and whether it was the Android app or the website. Not linked to your name, email or account. Kept up to 1 year.
Crash reports
When something goes wrong: what broke, where in our own code, which screen was open, and the app version, browser and device model. Never your subscriptions, your prices, your email or anything you typed, and the text of an error is cleaned of all of those before it is sent.
Usage statistics (only if you agree)
Which screens you open, where you stop part-way through something (for example leaving Add subscription before saving), and how long you use the app, with a random number for your device. Not linked to your name, email or account. Never your subscriptions, prices or anything you type.
We never collect card numbers, bank details or passwords to other services. “Payment method” is only a label you choose, such as “Credit Card”.
This website and the app use no cookies and no advertising tools.
Without asking, we measure three things. When you open the app, we note the date on your account, one date replaced each time. Each night we turn it into a single number, how many people opened the app that day, with nobody attached. App opens: the app keeps a random code on your device and, each time you open it, saves only that code, the time, and whether it was the Android app or the website, never linked to your name, email or account, so we can count how many different devices open the app each day. We also receive crash reports when something breaks, described above, sent to PostHog in Europe; they give nobody a lasting identifier, so one report cannot be joined to another or to you. We do this without asking because it keeps Subz Tracker working and shows us whether people can use it. It holds nothing about what you track.
Only if you agree, we also learn how the app is used: which screens you open, where you stop part-way through something (for example leaving Add subscription before saving), and how long you use the app. This goes to PostHog in Europe with a random number for your device, not linked to your name, email or account, and never your subscriptions, prices or anything you type. If you say no, none of this is collected. You can change your mind at any time in Settings, Privacy.
We also count visits to this website: one number added to today's total, with no cookie, nothing kept in your browser and nothing stored about you at all, not even your address. It counts visits, not people, so looking twice counts twice. If we ever add anything else that measures how the app is used, we will say so here first.
Why we use it
To run your account and sign you in.
To show your subscriptions, totals and charts, and to keep them in sync across your devices.
To send the reminder emails you turn on, and account emails such as password resets.
To answer your messages and fix problems.
To keep the service secure and stop abuse.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.
Why we are allowed to use it: for your account, your subscriptions, reminders and payments, because we need it to give you the service you asked for (our contract with you). For security, stopping abuse and answering your messages, because we have a genuine interest in keeping Subz Tracker safe and working (our legitimate interest), weighed against your privacy. Counting how many people open the app each day, counting app opens with a random code, and crash reports, because we have a genuine interest in knowing that the app works. Receipt scanning and usage statistics happen only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase in its EU West (Ireland) region. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Each account can read only its own data; this is enforced by the database itself.
Who else receives data
We use a few trusted services to run SubzTracker. Each receives only what it needs:
Service
What it receives
When
Supabase
Everything listed above (database, sign-in and file storage)
Always
Resend
Your email address and the email content: account emails, reminders (subscription name, date, amount) and replies to your messages
When an email is sent
Google (Gemini)
The receipt or screenshot you choose to scan
Only when you scan, after you agree
Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
The notification token for your phone, and the words of that one reminder: a subscription name, its date and its amount. Never your list of subscriptions, your email or your name
Only when a reminder is sent to a phone, and only if you switched notifications on
Your browser maker's notification service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, whichever made your browser)
The address your browser gave us. The words of the reminder are scrambled before they leave us and only your browser can unscramble them, so the service itself cannot read them
Only when a reminder is sent to a browser, and only if you switched notifications on
Exchange-rate service (open.er-api.com)
The currency codes being converted and your IP address
When a subscription uses two currencies
Creem
Your email address and which plan you chose. Creem takes the payment and keeps the card details; we never see them
When you buy or renew a paid plan
PostHog (Europe)
Crash reports, and the IP address any web request reveals. Only if you agree: usage statistics, with a random number for your device. Never your subscriptions, prices, email or name
When the app breaks, and while you use it if you agreed
Hostinger
Your IP address and the pages you request
Every visit to the app or this website
International transfers
Your data is stored in the EU, with Supabase in Ireland. Some of the services that help run Subz Tracker are based outside the UK and the EU, so some of your data can be sent to, or reached from, other countries:
Resend (United States) sends our emails, so it receives your email address and the content of each email.
Google (United States) delivers notifications to Android phones (Firebase Cloud Messaging): it receives the notification token for your phone and the words of that one reminder. Receipt scanning with Google’s Gemini is not offered in the UK, the EU or Switzerland, so no photo is sent to Google from there.
Your browser maker’s notification service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, mostly in the United States) receives only the address your browser gave us, and the reminder in scrambled form that only your browser can read.
Supabase keeps your data in Ireland, but it is a company based outside the EU, so its staff may reach the data from other countries for support and maintenance.
PostHog keeps crash reports, and usage statistics if you agree, in its European cloud.
Creem takes payments as the merchant of record. Its own privacy policy explains where it keeps payment details.
The exchange-rate service (open.er-api.com) receives only the currency codes being converted and your IP address.
Where a transfer needs protecting, we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Supabase and Resend include them, with the UK addendum, in their data processing terms, and Google includes them in its Firebase terms. For the other services we rely on the protections in their own terms.
Questions about international transfers, or would you like a copy of these protections? Use our contact form or Settings → Contact & feedback in the app.
Payments
Paid plans are sold through Creem, which is the merchant of record. That means Creem, not us, is the seller on your receipt and on your card or bank statement, and Creem handles the tax.
We never see your card details. You type them on Creem's own payment page, and they stay with Creem and its banks. Subz Tracker never receives, stores or processes a card number.
Creem receives your email address and which plan you chose, so it can take the payment, send you a receipt and tell us the plan is paid. Creem tells us that a payment succeeded, the plan, the price and the dates. We save that on your account so your plan works on all your devices.
Creem has its own privacy policy for the payment itself. Asking for a refund or changing your card is done through the link in Settings → Plan, which opens Creem.
Receipt scanning
Receipt scanning is optional. The first time you scan, the app explains what happens and asks for your consent. Only after you choose Agree and scan is the image sent to Google’s Gemini service, which reads it and returns the details it finds (such as the name, price and date). Subz Tracker does not store the image; only the details you check and save are kept.
We use Gemini’s free tier, so Google may use the image to improve its services, and human reviewers at Google may read it. Please do not scan images that show information you do not want shared.
Your consent is saved on your account, with the date you gave it, so it applies on all your devices. You can withdraw it at any time with the Receipt scanning switch in Settings; the next scan then asks again. Our server also checks your consent before every scan.
Receipt scanning is not offered in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland. It is hidden in the app when your time zone is in one of these places, and our server refuses scans from accounts set to those time zones.
Android app
The Subz Tracker Android app is available everywhere, including the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Receipt scanning is not offered there, in the app or on the web, so no photo of yours is ever sent to Google from those places. Everything else works the same.
If you switch notifications on in Settings, a reminder can arrive as a notification on your phone, even when the app is closed. Switch them off in the same place, or in Android's own settings for Subz Tracker, and the token for that phone is deleted. Reminders by email are separate and are switched on their own.
The same switch does the same thing in a browser: a reminder can arrive even when the tab is closed, on a computer and on an Android phone. Switch it off in Settings, or block notifications for Subz Tracker in your browser, and the address for that browser is deleted. On an iPhone this works once you add Subz Tracker to your Home Screen and open it from there, which is Apple's rule, not ours.
What stays on your device
The app keeps a few things in your browser’s storage so it works smoothly: your sign-in session, your theme, the private device number used for notifications, the random code for counting app opens, your answer about usage statistics (and, if you agreed, their random device number), which tips you have seen, which reminders were already shown today, and changes waiting to sync. This website only remembers your light or dark choice. None of this is used for advertising or shared with other sites.
How long we keep it
Your account and subscriptions: until you delete them or your account.
Messages to us: up to 2 years, so we can follow up on a problem you reported.
Scan counts: 90 days. Only the time of each scan, never the image.
Consent records: for as long as your account exists, so we can show what you agreed to. They are deleted with your account.
Payment records: kept by Creem for as long as tax and accounting rules require. On our side we keep only your plan, the price you pay and the dates.
Technical logs at our service providers: a short period set by each of them, usually a few days to a few weeks.
The date you last opened the app: replaced every time you open it, and gone when your account is. From it we keep a daily total, a number with nobody attached to it, which we keep for as long as Subz Tracker runs.
App opens: up to 1 year, then deleted. The random code is not linked to any account.
Crash reports: up to 1 year at PostHog, which is the shortest its plan allows, then they go. They hold nothing that identifies anybody.
Usage statistics (only if you agreed): up to 1 year at PostHog, then they go.
Backups: up to 30 days, then overwritten.
Deleting your account
You can delete your Subz Tracker account yourself, at any time, and you do not need to ask us.
In the Subz Tracker app (Android or the web app):
Open Settings.
Tap Delete account (under Help, and also on the Account page under Danger Zone).
Read what will be deleted, then type DELETE to confirm.
Enter your password. If you have forgotten it, choose No password, or forgot it? Email me a code instead and enter the 6-digit code we send you.
Tap Delete my account.
Without the app, at app.subztracker.com/delete-account/: enter your email address, open the confirmation link we send you (it works once, for one hour), and confirm. Nothing is deleted unless that link is opened.
What is deleted
Your account is closed immediately: you are signed out and nobody can sign in to it. After 30 days all of the following is permanently deleted, with no way to recover it:
All your subscriptions and their history.
Your settings, including your payment method names, your currency, your reminder settings and the date you last opened the app.
Your plan and your scan history (the times you scanned a receipt; we never kept the images).
Your consent records (the choices you made about our terms, this policy, notifications, email reminders, receipt scanning and usage statistics).
Any messages and screenshots you sent us.
Your login: your email address, your name if you gave one, and your password.
What is kept, and for how long
Your data, for the 30 days in between. It is held in a private archive so you can change your mind. If you sign in again within those 30 days you choose Restore my data or Start fresh (the archive is deleted at once). After 30 days it is gone.
Payment records, for as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you ever paid for a plan, Creem, our payment provider, keeps the record of the payment, and so do we: the plan, the price and the dates. This is a legal obligation and it is the one thing deleting your account does not remove.
Backups, up to 30 days. Our database backups are overwritten on a rolling 30-day cycle, so a copy of your data can survive in a backup until it is overwritten. Backups are never used to bring a deleted account back.
Technical logs at our service providers: a short period set by each of them, usually a few days to a few weeks.
Crash reports, which carry nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing in them to find or delete. They go on their own within a year.
Usage statistics, if you agreed: they are not linked to your account, so they cannot be found from it. They go on their own within a year. Saying no in Settings, Privacy, stops them at once and removes their random number from your device.
Emails we already sent you (for example past reminders) are in your own mailbox and cannot be recalled.
Nothing else is kept. You can also delete single subscriptions, or all of them, at any time without deleting your account.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. Most of it you can do yourself in the app. For a copy of your data, write to us through Contact & feedback from the account and we will send it to you in a readable file. We reply to every request within 30 days, free of charge. If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK you also have the rights the GDPR gives you, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
Subz Tracker is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to have an account. We do not knowingly collect anything about anyone younger, and if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we delete it. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app when the change matters.
